Rate Increase Adjustment

As many are aware Morgan Mill Water has increased their base rate and water rate beginning on the  April billing.  In the monthly meeting last night the Board voted on a surcharge increase to the base rate and an additional increase on the water rate beginning on the June 1, 2025 billing. As many know the existing water lease is up on the existing wells, June 30, 2025. Mr. Pinkston has however agreed to allow us to purchase water for up to a year, until the new well and system can provide water to you the public.  A letter is being mailed out as 30 day notice of the rate increase. The letter will give you updates on where we are with the new well and system and give you more information on the new rate. The letter will also be posted on the website. You may access your account information anytime, by setting up an account. Click on the payment options tab on the home page. Create your account using your account number and you can access all your information. There is a toll free number provided if you need support. Here you can view your payment history, current amount due and pay by credit card, ACH or debit card. It you want to continue to pay by check or cash that is quite alright.
